Reported Crop Circles for the State of Iowa -

Elkader, Clayton County (August 7, 1969)

A resident reported hearing a ‘strange noise’ which lasted about two minutes then faded away into the distance. Leaving her house to investigate, she found a 20’ diameter flattened, ‘scorched’ circle in the grass lot next to her property. At least three other vague reports of various circles in fields were reported by the local paper as being found in September.
